The behind-the-scenes story of how I went from a Saturday brain wave to 50 students enrolled and $5,000+ in revenue, using two tools and a process you can actually copy.

It started on a Saturday morning.

I woke up with an idea... do a workshop on Claude. Show people how I'm using AI in my business, in my programs, in my launches. Teach the foundations, not the flashy stuff.

By the following Monday, that workshop was live. Fifty students had registered. $5,000+ in revenue. An offer I can now sell again and again.

Eight days. Idea to delivered.

If you'd told me five years ago that this was possible, I would have laughed. My first launch in 2020 took six weeks just to figure out what I was selling, let alone how to sell it. And I had been dreaming about launching for six years before that. That's how long it took me to go from "I want to do this" to actually doing it.

This launch? Eight days.

I want to walk you through exactly how it happened, the two tools that made it possible, and what I'd want you to take away from it if you're a coach, course creator, or membership owner building toward something similar.

The Two Tools That Made This Possible

There are a million tools out there right now. New ones every week. AI agents, automations, productivity stacks, the works.

I use two.

Claude is the AI tool I now use every single day in my business. Not as a fancier search bar. As a teammate that already knows my voice, my audience, my offers, and my goals. Once you set Claude up that way, it stops being a generic chatbot and becomes something that genuinely understands what you're trying to build.

Kajabi is the platform where everything I sell lives. Sales pages, checkout, emails, course delivery, replay hosting, all under one login. No duct-taping. No fourteen tabs open trying to make different tools talk to each other. One platform that runs the whole business.

These two tools together are what made the 8-day timeline possible. Claude collapsed the "what should I do" part down to one afternoon. Kajabi turned the plan into a real, working, sellable thing by Tuesday morning.

The 8-Day Timeline

Here's how it actually unfolded.

Saturday. I had the workshop idea. I sat down with Claude and worked through the strategy. By the end of the day, I had a 37-page launch plan covering everything I needed... sales page copy, an email sequence, social posts for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn, a Pinterest pin strategy, a podcast ad script, and a checklist for my team. All of it.

Monday morning. I handed the document to my team in a 10-minute meeting. They had no idea I was doing this workshop until that moment. The launch plan was clear enough that they could divide and conquer with almost no follow-up questions.

Monday night. All the assets were built. Sales page live. Email sequence loaded. Social graphics designed. We were ready to start promoting Tuesday morning.

Tuesday through Sunday. I sent the announcement email. Promoted across social. Showed up on my podcast. The momentum built.

The following Monday. Live workshop. Fifty students in the room. $5,000+ in revenue. Two hours of teaching that I packaged immediately afterward as a replay and turned into an evergreen offer.

That's the eight days. Now let's talk about what made it actually work.

Why This Worked (It Wasn't the Tools)

Here's the part I want you to really hear.

If I gave you the exact prompts I typed into Claude that Saturday morning, you wouldn't get a 37-page launch plan. You'd get a generic outline. Maybe a few useful paragraphs.

The prompts are not the secret.

Four things made this work. Without all four, the timeline falls apart.

1. A clear goal. I knew exactly what I wanted to do and why. I wanted a workshop that would bring new people into my world through the door of learning Claude, while also serving my existing students who were already asking about AI. The clearer your goal, the better the output. Claude can't strategize FOR you. It can strategize WITH you.

2. A well-trained Claude. My Claude already knows my brand voice, my audience, my offers, my business model, and my formatting rules. That foundation isn't optional. It's the multiplier. Without it, every conversation starts from scratch.

3. Years of business knowledge. I knew what a launch actually needs. Sales page, emails, social, post-purchase automation, team handoff. Claude executed on a plan I could already see in my head. AI accelerates what you already know. It doesn't replace what you don't.

4. Kajabi. The tool that turned the launch plan into a real, working business. Without Kajabi, the 37-page plan is just a beautiful document. With Kajabi, it's a sales page, a checkout, an email sequence, a course product, and a replay page. All in one platform. All under one login.

The Four Prompt Formulas I Used

Now to the part everyone asks about. The actual prompts.

I used four prompt formulas to build that 37-page launch plan. Each one has a specific job. They build on each other in order.

Formula 1: The Strategic Brief. The prompt that starts the whole thing. You give Claude the full picture of what you want to launch, why, and what it needs to do. Most people skip this step. That's why most people's prompts don't work.

Formula 2: The Output Request. Once Claude understands your strategy, you tell it exactly what assets you need. Sales page. Email sequence. Social posts. Team handoff document. Specificity is everything here.

Formula 3: The Follow-Up Refine. Take Claude's first pass and shape it. Tell it what's working, what needs to change, and why. Most people throw out Claude's first draft and start over. Don't. Refine.

Formula 4: The Handoff. Turn the strategy into something your team (or future-you) can actually execute on. A separate document, formatted for the person who has to do the work.

I've put all four formulas together as a free guide called the Claude Launch Prompts Guide. It includes the fill-in-the-blank templates for each formula, the pattern behind why each one works, and the four ingredients I mentioned above.

Why Kajabi Mattered as Much as Claude

People hear "AI" and think the AI is the whole story. It's not.

Claude gave me the plan. Kajabi made the plan real.

Without Kajabi, I would have needed a separate tool for my sales page, a separate tool for checkout, a separate tool for emails, a separate tool for the course product where the replay lives, and a separate tool for delivering bonuses. Each one would have needed to be set up, configured, and connected to the others.

With Kajabi, all of that happens in one place. My team built the sales page using one of our Amelia templates (literally available in our template shop, if you want the same one I used). They loaded the email sequence into Kajabi's broadcast tool. The checkout link was built right into the sales page. After the workshop, I packaged the replay as a course product inside Kajabi, gave students access through the same platform, and started selling it on evergreen the very next day.

This is what an all-in-one platform actually looks like. And it's the reason why a Saturday brain wave can become a $5K offer in 8 days. The infrastructure is already there. You're not building from scratch every time.

This is also why I keep saying it is the most incredible time to be a course creator. The tools have collapsed timelines that used to take months. The hard part is no longer the building. The hard part is the clarity.

What I Want You to Take From This

If you're sitting there thinking "this is great for Lydia, but I'm not there yet," I want you to hear this clearly.

You don't need to launch in 8 days. That's not the goal.

The goal is to understand that the tools are here. The path is clearer than it has ever been. The only thing left is to take the next step in front of you.

If your next step is figuring out what to sell, get clear on your offer first. (My Countdown to Launch program is built for exactly that.)

If your next step is finding a platform that won't slow you down, get on Kajabi. I'm a Kajabi Expert Partner, and you can use my partner link to grab your account. You'll also get free access to Countdown to Launch as a bonus when you sign up through me.
